Dietary fiber is a type of carbohydrate that cannot be digested by our human body enzymes. Mostly found in edible plant foods such as vegetables, cereals, dried peas, nuts, lentils, and fruits. It is mainly needed to keep the digestive system healthy and also helps in keeping constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, heart disease and many types of cancers away.
